A historic moment

Today Novalea lost her second tooth! This is an exciting occurence for Novalea in general, but this is the first tooth to be lost in Devon’s parents house. When they moved here the children were to old for vosits from the Tooth Fairy! We will see what the tooth fairy brings tonight!

The best kind of night!

This is what I call the perfect night! We had some burgers and dogs on the back deck. We even had a visit from some great friends who helped us put a dent in the leftover cheesecake. Only a task that truly great friends would be willing to help with. :). Ha!

The creativity!

This evening Novalea decided to make herself a Nintendo DS. She said, “Now I can play games on it!”

Just hilarious! She cut it and pasted the smaller paper on it by herself!

The day we thought would never end!

Seriously….what a day!  Due to flooding it took us almost 3 1/2 hours to drive 60 miles.

Then we never received our paperwork, due to our move since our last trip…so we had to straighten out the insurance information.  I don’t ever want to hear the words "Self-Pay" @ Hopkins again!  When she was getting her PAM treatments it was around $20,000 per day.  it wouldn’t be that much, but I am not interested in knowing how much is was!

We had to walk to Hopkins for a Bone Density Scan (3 blocks), then back for meeting… the rain held off while we were walking.  They squeezed us in for a hearing test, since we had to cancel due to being late… and I called it quits when they wanted blood work… The girls didn’t eat since 6 AM… had to get back… and Devon is with Novalea @ the dentist… Really praying we only get to experience these types of trips 1 or twice a year.

     I seriously need a nap!

A typical trip to KKI

It took us almost three hours to get here. Flooding. Then we get to KKI and the insurance is all messed up. Then they ship us to Johns Hopkins for a test that we couldn’t get done in York!

All in a days trip!
